Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Product Designer to shape growth design strategy for a major product area across the customer lifecycle. This onsite role in San Francisco partners with product, engineering, data science, and growth marketing to deliver durable, high-quality experiences.

You will lead an AI-first design approach, drive end-to-end journeys with AI at the center, mentor designers, and influence senior leadership with craft-forward storytelling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on product design experience in enterprise, platform, or complex B2B products.
• A track record of leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives to outcomes.
• Comfort operating at the intersection of design, product, and engineering, with emotional intelligence under pressure.
• Deep, hands-on fluency with AI as a design material and AI-powered experience design.
• Excellent executive communication skills and mentorship of other designers.

Responsibilities

• Own the design strategy and vision for a major product area, connecting near-term experiments to long-term customer experience across the lifecycle.
• Take direct accountability for experience quality and business results with clear North Star KPIs.
• Drive an AI-first design strategy by redesigning end-to-end journeys with AI at the core.
• Set the bar for high-velocity experimentation, supporting discovery, rapid prototyping, and A/B testing on high-leverage areas.
• Up-level design craft across the team by raising standards for visual, interaction, and systems-level design.
• Influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners with craft-forward storytelling and research-backed points of view.
• Coach designers and partners on craft and strategic thinking, shaping the team's identity and operating model.
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, and growth marketing to ship scalable, high-quality solutions.
