Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Scientist in AI-Native Discovery (Large Molecules) to join our In Silico Biologics team. This role will be located in Spring House, PA; Cambridge, MA; or San Diego, CA, with travel as needed. No remote option.

You will shape AI-native biologics discovery, integrating AI, predictive modeling, and computational design to support therapeutic programs. Collaborate across ISD and enterprise teams to advance science and efficiency.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of drug discovery experience with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI, ML, agentic AI, computational biology, or antibody design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with In Silico Discovery and Biologics teams to apply AI-enabled design and analysis.
• Represent ISD on cross-functional teams and inform program strategy with computational insights.
• Apply predictive modeling, ML, generative approaches, and computational biology to support design and optimization.
