Job summary

MDC Executive Search is seeking a Principal Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable ServiceNow ITSM solutions for large enterprises. Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions for enterprise customers.
• Onboard customers using ServiceBridge and lead conversations face to face.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and governance models.
• Guide technical decisions from proof of concept to launch, balancing speed, security, reliability, and business value.
• Advise senior business and technology leaders on roadmaps, tradeoffs, and business cases.
• Get hands-on where deep platform knowledge is needed, and mentor engineers through design reviews.
• Present at customer sites (some travel).

Principal Platform Architect | ServiceNow ITSM

Our client is a well-established technology services organization that helps complex enterprises modernize their operations. They are known for strong leadership access, stability, and a team that values ownership and accountability.

The Role

This is a new senior architecture seat for a ServiceNow architect who wants to design the solution, advise customers, and stay close while a team of engineers builds it. You will partner with executives and engineering teams at large enterprise customers to turn strategy into production-ready ServiceNow platforms. Reports to the CIO and leads a team of about five.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years architecting ServiceNow solutions at enterprise scale, with ITSM as the primary module
• 10+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture
• Hands-on ServiceNow ServiceBridge experience, including onboarding customers
• Experience presenting architecture recommendations to C-level executives at large enterprise customers
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of architects or engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA), the top preference, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, or Virtual Agent
• Pre-sales experience, including RFPs, scoping, and solution proposals
• Experience with CMDB, ITOM, integrations, REST APIs, and automation

Work Setup

On site in South Florida (Broward County) strongly preferred, with some flexibility for the right person. Relocation offered. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and benefits.
