Zusammenfassung

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal Planner to drive end-to-end material planning for existing and new products. The role focuses on developing 24-month demand forecasts, coordinating with Sales, Program Management, and Manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory.

Strong MRP/SIOP knowledge and BOM/drawings interpretation are essential. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in planning, be proficient in Excel, and understand AS9100D.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years' experience in planning/scheduling and inventory control in manufacturing.
• Thorough understanding of MRP systems and SIOP preferred.
• Electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel.
• Experience reading a multilevel BOM, drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with outside processing preferred.
• AS9100D Quality System comprehension required.

Aufgaben

• Develop final demand forecasts at multiple aggregation levels for full-time horizon and by channels/k accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and customer reps to develop collaborative forecast.
• Provide training or leadership for team members and assign projects.
• Capture risks and develop mitigations.
• Accurate processing of customer demands in the system.
• Coordinate with Materials Management for inventory planning and reporting.
• Support production rescheduling with Program/Manufacturing teams during changes or material constraints.
• Assist in managing BOM release processes to minimize impact on delivery and inventory.
• Monitor metrics like on-time delivery, allocations, and throughput.
