Job summary

MDS Staffing is helping a Rochester, NH-based manufacturing leader hire a Principal Planner to drive supply chain strategy at a 24/7 facility. You will manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and release of work orders in coordination with Operations and Manufacturing, while aligning with contractual commitments.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing, strong MRP expertise, ERP/Oracle EBS experience, and a proven track record in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in a global production/manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in MRP signaling, planning signals, and policy compliance.
• Strong supply chain fundamentals and ERP experience (Oracle EBS/ASCP).
• APICS certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own critical supply chain deadlines and align with customer commitments.
• Drive MRP signals to support production and inventory flow.
• Partner with Operations/Production to resolve issues and keep on track.
• Monitor schedules, track performance, mitigate delivery risks.
• Manage end-of-life inventory, new product launches, and Liab.
• Deliver analytics to leadership and train team on data access.
• Act as escalation point and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement to cut costs and boost efficiency.
• Provide guidance on Oracle ASCP to lift planning capabilities.
• Support 5S standards and comply with Safety/ISO procedures.
