Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years planning experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
• Strong data extrapolation and trend identification skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements of the company.
• Set-up and maintain material, supplier and planning system data in the MRP/ERP system.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of goods, services and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements.
• Determine material requirements from production schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials through production cycle.
• Take on special assignments such as projects to adjust delivery schedules to meet new customer demand or supply new DCs.
• Work with Receiving, Packaging and Shipping departments to reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct business at the highest ethical standard.
