Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks a Principal to provide advanced OT/IT cyber security expertise, supporting regulatory compliance and policy advocacy. The role enhances internal controls, standards, and training across internal and external stakeholders.

You will drive end-to-end planning on assigned deliverables, advise on OT/SCADA security, and ensure readiness for RTO/ISO and NERC related obligations, with travel of 5-10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cyber security or related with power system focus.
• 10+ years IT/OT and cyber security experience.
• 5+ years NERC CIP program implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end planning and execution of compliance deliverables.
• Provide OT, cyber security, networking, and SCADA guidance for compliance.
• Support NERC CIP obligations and regulatory demos.
• Maintain NERC CIP policies and training materials.
• Develop and deliver internal and external training on regulatory topics.
• Monitor industry cyber security developments and benchmark them.
