Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Principal based in Chicago to provide advanced OT/IT and cyber security expertise supporting regulatory compliance across physical and electronic domains.

The role emphasizes internal controls, policy advocacy, and training, with a hybrid schedule aligning in-office work Mon-Thu and remote on Fridays when possible. Requires 10+ years IT/OT and 5+ years NERC CIP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cyber Security or related field with engineering/power focus.
• 10+ years IT/OT and cyber security experience.
• 5+ years direct NERC CIP program experience.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable guidance.
• Willingness to travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end planning and execution of assigned deliverables.
• Provide OT/IT cyber security guidance for compliance fitness.
• Support NERC CIP policies, procedures, and training.
• Develop and deliver NERC training to internal and external teams.
• Oversee internal controls and policy advocacy.
• Benchmark to stay aware of cyber security developments.
• Answer queries requiring advanced technology knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
