RTX is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer for the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on designing, developing, documenting, and sustaining mechanical test environment systems for Raytheon Missile Defense products.

Applicants must have a minimum of eight years in mechanical design/engineering, CAD proficiency (ProE/CREO), and GD&T experience. This position is 100% onsite in Tucson with relocation offered and security clearance requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• ProE/CREO Parametric for complex design workflows.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop mechanical test systems (vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, electro-optical).
• Integrate and validate test systems against accuracy and reliability requirements.
• Evaluate production installations and propose design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
