Job summary

3C Ventures is seeking a Principal, Marketing Transformation to join our Strategic Advisory team. This player-coach role guides CMOs and senior marketers as a peer while collaborating with a talented team to shape thinking, build storylines, and present recommendations to clients.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on marketing expertise across functions and substantial management consulting or strategy experience, with a track record of driving transformational marketing programs and leading

Qualifications

• 12+ years as a Senior Director or VP of Marketing at a Fortune 500 or comparable company.
• Experience owning a budget, leading a team, and managing agency partners.
• Fluency across core marketing disciplines and integrated planning.
• Foundational understanding of marketing data, measurement and martech.
• Hands-on style with ability to guide others.
• Executive presence and communication with a CMO/CEO.

Responsibilities

• Advise CMOs and senior marketing leaders with practitioner perspectives and recommendations.
• Lead content creation, storylines and executive summaries for client reads.
• Generate ideas on marketing strategy, transformation and AI in marketing.
• Apply systems thinking across people, process, technology, data, partners and investment.
• Direct client engagements and shape client recommendations.
• Coach 3CV consultants on content and client presence; build marketing judgment.
• Lead business development from initial conversations to proposal and pitch.
• Produce thought leadership that provokes clients and the industry.
