Job summary

RTX Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design. You will drive manufacturing test strategy from development through production, shaping test plans, and influencing program decisions for successful new product introductions.

As the manufacturing test authority, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve testability, resolve test constraints, and communicate technical information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive manufacturing test strategy.
• Experience communicating technical information to different audiences.
• Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority within the program.
• Apply test engineering skillsets across the value stream to optimize the manufacturing test strategy.
• Improve the testability of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team, identifying and resolving test constraints across the program.
• Leverage knowledge to influence decisions from new designs through transition to production.
• Design, control, and improve the testability of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team.
• Develop influential relationships with internal customers.
