Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of laboratory automation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and data capture.
• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handlers or integrated laboratory automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, standards, and interfaces for cross-workcell laboratory automation spanning requests, instruments, workcells, stores, and data systems.
• Establish design patterns for labware, reagent, and consumable identity, and data provenance.
• Develop criteria for nominal workflows, edge cases, failure modes, and recovery.
• Lead investigations to improve reliability, scalability, data quality, and model feedback utility.
• Mentor scientists and align automation delivery with scientific goals.
