Qualifications

Role

Laboratory Automation Scientist supporting automation of biopharma laboratory workflows at Johnson & Johnson's Spring House site.

Objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field;
• 3+ years (or Master's with 2+ years, PhD with 1+ year) experience in laboratory automation, assay automation, or scientific workflows;
• practical experience with automated liquid handlers or similar systems;
• strong understanding of lab workflows, sample handling, data capture, and automation software.

Preferred

• experience with systems like Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman, or vendor scripting languages;
• background in high-throughput screening, NGS library prep, or cell-based assays;
• familiarity with automation platforms such as BioSero, Momentum, Python, SQL, ELN, LIMS.
