Job summary

Energy Transfer Family of Partnerships seeks a Principal IT Specialist to support the ION RightAngle ETRM system, handle upgrades, testing, and documentation while delivering strong customer service. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in application support, solid SQL and SDLC knowledge, and experience with Remedy/ServiceNow.

Occasional after-hours support and cross-team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems or related field.
10+ years of experience in application support.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with SDLC processes (Agile, Waterfall).
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy, ServiceNow.
Knowledge of RightAngle data flows and related modules.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with end-users, developers and managers to support RightAngle.
Document issues and enhancements for development teams.
Field questions from end-users and assist with data issues.
Create and maintain system functional design documents.
Complete analysis, testing and deployment for system upgrades and releases.
Follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
Provide after-hours support for business-critical situations.
Contribute to best-practice library and mentor team members.
Work on multiple tasks with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
Ensure requirements align with corporate compliance and communicate across the organization.
