Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Principal Specialist - IT ETRM Systems to support the ION RightAngle application and related integrations. The role requires strong customer service, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on system support.

You will collaborate with end-users, developers, and managers, document issues, perform upgrades, and ensure compliance while working across Deal Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory and Settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in application support.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas physical & financial commodities.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with RightAngle data flows (Deal Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory, Settlements).
• Ability to create complex pricing provisions and report views.
• Capable of testing business scenarios in RightAngle from deal capture to invoicing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with end-users, developers, and managers to support and enhance RightAngle.
• Document issues and enhancements for the development team.
• Field questions from end-users and assist with data issues.
• Create and maintain system functional design documents.
• Complete analysis, testing and deployment for RightAngle upgrades and patches.
• Follow defined change management procedures and internal guidelines.
• Availability to support after hours on critical situations and scheduled tasks.
• Contribute to best practice library and mentor team members.
• Handle multiple tasks with limited supervision.
• Ensure requirements meet corporate compliance.
• Ensure proper communication to all levels of the organization.
