Job summary

KKR’s Global Insurance Client Solutions (GICS) team in New York seeks a Principal to lead liability origination, owning sourcing, evaluation and execution of reinsurance and capital solutions. The role involves cross-functional leadership across deal teams, pricing, and legal.

As a senior member, you will shape strategic proposals, mentor juniors, and drive transactions end-to-end with direct engagement with senior stakeholders and KKR leadership.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of experience in investment banking, (re)insurance, asset management, or private equity in M&A/structuring.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and cross-functional teams across deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pitching and origination of liability solutions and develop new client relationships.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, guiding ongoing dialogue and relationship management.
• Collaborate with reinsurance pricing/deal teams and insurance business to structure transactions.
• Coordinate with Finance/Operations/Compliance/Legal to manage complex engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee delivery of high-quality materials and analyses.
• Own the strategic narrative, proposals, and bespoke client materials.
• Drive end-to-end transaction processes from initiation to close.
