Job summary

KKR is seeking an experienced Principal/Director to drive the expansion of its Defined Contribution insurance business. You will lead strategy, product development, and go-to-market efforts for guaranteed income within DC, working across product strategy, structuring, client coverage, and distribution enablement.

The role sits within the Insurance New Markets and Strategic Partnerships team and focuses on expanding funding sources, partnerships, and new channels to grow assets under management.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in asset management, insurance, and/or annuity product distribution with product development or channel strategy exposure.
• Proven track record launching annuity or retail insurance products and building distribution channels (DC, RIA, IBD).
• Strong project management and ability to coordinate with senior leaders across teams.
• Deep understanding of insurance products, multi-asset solutions, and fiduciary/regulatory standards.
• Experience using AI tools for market and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the Defined Contribution channel strategy and roadmap for entry and scale.
• Lead end-to-end product development and structuring for in-plan or lifetime income solutions.
• Analyze regulatory developments and market trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with asset managers, record keepers, and consultants.
• Represent the firm as a thought leader on in-plan annuities and lifetime income in DC.
