Lead groundwater and surface water compliance, permitting, and hydrogeologic investigation projects while managing teams, developing client relationships, and providing senior technical expertise across complex environmental programmes. This role offers technical leadership, business development responsibility, and the opportunity to shape large-scale compliance and remediation initiatives.

The job:
  • Lead groundwater and surface water compliance and permitting projects for solid waste, industrial waste, and coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities.
  • Provide senior technical oversight of hydrogeologic investigations, groundwater monitoring, assessment programmes, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring field activities, data analysis, reporting, and regulatory submissions meet applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Direct geochemical evaluations, groundwater compliance assessments, statistical analyses, and contaminant fate and transport studies.
  • Lead client, regulator, and stakeholder meetings while managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, quality, and profitability.
  • Drive business development through proposal preparation, client relationship management, and mentoring multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Compensation: $185,000 - $235,000, including performance bonus, profit sharing, and company stock ownership opportunities.
