Amazon.com Services LLC in New York seeks a Principal HR Business Partner to lead HR strategy for the Americas Partner Management within the ASP organization, aligning talent priorities with business goals and improving employee experience for this team of builders across the region.

The role partners with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Employee Relations and Workforce Planning to set HR priorities, influence leaders, drive org design, and coach senior leaders to maximize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of human resource business partner or blend of operations and HR experience
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams
• Experience working in a matrixed organization
• Experience working with a population of tech leadership employees

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve HR initiatives
• Partner with the central HR Partner organization to work with managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
• Coach business partners in career development, leadership and management practices
• Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management and skills assessment and development
• Function as a consultant and counselor to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into HR plans
• Develop and implement people plans and solutions in order to achieve people initiatives and deliver results. This includes serving as a critical champion of programs that help to export talent to the broader AWS organization from partner teams
