Siemens Energy seeks a highly experienced Principal/Senior Consultant to join our Grid Consulting team in the United States. The role focuses on acquiring projects, coordinating studies for decarbonization and electrification, and managing diverse stakeholders for successful delivery.

The candidate should bring a proven consulting background in energy, strong engineering credentials, and the ability to travel up to 20% to serve regional clients and participate in industry forums.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in engineering with relevant professional experience.
• Long-term consulting experience (>8 years) for electrical utilities, industrials and data centers.
• Experience in grid digitalization, energy system and market modeling simulations.
• Expertise in power system simulations and RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability).
• Knowledge of renewable energy and storage integration.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and project management.
• Experience designing technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Project acquisition: represent service capabilities to clients in the regional market and network with stakeholders to build relationships.
• Consulting study execution: coordinate studies for business cases, technical/economic analyses and proof of concepts.
• Stakeholder and partner management: maintain relationships and coordinate with partners; represent the company in industry groups.
