Job summary

The Atlantic District in Pottsville, Pennsylvania is seeking a Principal General Agent to lead regional sales and mentor a growing team. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on coaching, emphasizing integrity, client focus, and agent development.

You will recruit and train producers, build partnerships with carriers, and execute plans to expand market share while maintaining compliance. A PA Life, Accident, and Health license plus proven sales leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health license is required.
• Proven success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
• In-depth knowledge of life and health insurance products and market trends.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and growing agency revenue.
• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Experience with agency management software and digital recruitment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and grow our regional sales operations while fostering a culture of excellence and mutual support.
• Recruit, train, and mentor new insurance producers to ensure they have the tools to succeed.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans that expand our footprint in the Pottsville community.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and stakeholders to advocate for our clients and agents.
• Lead weekly team meetings to share best practices, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together.
• Monitor industry regulations to keep our team compliant and prepared for any changes in the landscape.
