Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer for Platform Quality and Reliability in Boston, MA (Hybrid; occasional on-site time). You will own uptime, performance, and resilience across NBA platform services, and actively write production code as part of a hands-on team.

You’ll build testing infrastructure and ensure code meets high standards before production. The role requires 5+ years in software design and testing, with 4+ years in full stack engineering and some platform reliability focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• 4+ years of full stack software engineering experience with at least 1–2 years focused on platform reliability or site reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own uptime, performance, and resilience across NBA platform services; identify bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Write and ship production code; this is a hands-on role, not supervisory.
• Build and maintain automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
