Job summary

Steer is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Core Platform Team. You will own technical strategy, design scalable full-stack components, and lead architectural decisions for a high-impact CRM platform in a fast-growing auto-services tech company.

You’ll champion AI-driven workflows, modern DevOps, and a proactive, ownership-focused culture, collaborating with product leadership to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building complex, web-based SaaS products.
• Hands-on AI/LLM integration experience and production deployments.
• Strong architectural vision and ability to lead end-to-end platform development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy and core component design for the Steer CRM platform.
• Lead architecture of reusable full-stack services to scale toward market dominance.
• Pivot rapidly to meet evolving business needs while maintaining ecosystem integrity.
• Collaborate with Product to address user pain points with architectural solutions.
• Uphold code quality, security, testing, and maintainability.
• Shape DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC.
