Job summary

Steer is building a world‑class engineering team to advance its automotive CRM platform. We seek a Principal Engineer, Agentic AI, to own architectural direction and launch high‑impact AI‑driven features within a scalable, agentic‑first infrastructure.

You will lead large, cross‑functional initiatives, shape systems around autonomous workflows, and drive best practices in security, testing, and DevOps. This is a hands-on leadership role with substantial ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building complex, web-based SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience deploying AI-powered features and autonomous workflows in production.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and own core platform components.
• Lead design of reusable full-stack services for scalable growth.
• Pivot between integrations and infrastructure to keep ecosystem seamless.
• Collaborate with Product to align architecture with user value.
• Champion security, test automation, and maintainability practices.
• Shape AI-driven DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC to enable autonomous workflows.
