Job summary

A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join a mission-critical DoD program focused on modernizing case management and workflow platforms. You will own full lifecycle development for enterprise-level applications across secure enclaves, delivering scalable web solutions and REST/SOAP APIs.

Qualified candidates have 8+ years of hands-on full-stack experience (Java, Python, Angular, React), DoD 8570/8140 IAT II, and a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• DoD 8570/8140: IAT Level II or better Certification Required (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP).
• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience (e.g., Java, Python, Angular, React).
• Strong API development and consumption (REST/SOAP).
• Demonstrated experience in a DevSecOps CI environment using Agile best practices.

Responsibilities

• Function as a hands-on builder for secure, scalable DoD applications (IL5/IL6/JWICS).
• Design and maintain web workflows and case management for FOCI, CV-F, and NISP oversight.
• Translate user stories into code in a SAFe software factory using Jira, GitLab, Confluence.
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and system demos.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to ensure fast login times for NIPR operations.
• Ensure MOSA-aligned architecture with non-proprietary standards.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs with DISS and eMASS.
• Leverage AI/ML outputs for automated alerting, triage, routing.
• Secure data transfer between enclaves via CDS.
• Maintain at least 80% automated test coverage and regression testing.
• Write secure code with DevSecOps, comply with DISA STIGs and Zero Trust.
• Support A&A by resolving performance defects quickly to maintain Continuous ATO.
