Job summary

A3 Consulting LLC is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the modernization of defense-facing applications and deliver a secure, scalable platform. The role focuses on end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise systems across DoD enclaves, including IL5/IL6 and JWICS, with a strong emphasis on MOSA-aligned architecture.

You will work in a SAFe environment, collaborating with UI/UX, and integrate AI/ML-driven alerting and routing to support adjudicators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• IAT Level II DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP) required.
• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack development (Java, Python, Angular, React).
• Strong API development experience (REST/SOAP) connecting enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Function as a hands-on builder delivering secure, scalable enterprise applications across IL5/IL6/JWICS environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain workflows and case management supporting FO, CV-F, and NISP oversight.
• Translate user stories into code within a SAFe software factory using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and system demonstrations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to ensure fast login times for DoD operations.
• Adhere to MOSA principles and non-proprietary standards in architecture.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs with DoD data sources like DISS and eMASS.
• Leverage AI/ML outputs to trigger automated alerting, triage, and routing workflows.
• Support secure data transfer between enclaves via CDS while maintaining 80% test coverage.
• Write secure code with DevSecOps, DISA STIGs, and DoD Zero Trust compliance.
