Job summary

the company, LLC seeks a seasoned Full Stack Application Developer to join a mission-critical team for defense-based systems across IL5/IL6/JWICS. You will build secure, scalable apps, integrate APIs, and support modernized platforms while adhering to MOSA principles.

Role requires DoD clearance, hands-on development with Java/Python/Angular/React, and experience with SAFe, DevSecOps, and secure data practices. Remote (DC Metro) with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on full-stack software development experience (e.g., Java, Python, Angular, React).
• Strong experience with API development and consumption (REST/SOAP).
• Experience operating in a DevSecOps CI environment using Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom web application workflows and case management to support security programs.
• Support refactoring and migration of legacy capabilities to the new platform.
• Translate user stories into code within a SAFe software factory using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
• Participate in daily scrums and sprint planning; conduct demonstrations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers; ensure MOSA-aligned, loosely-coupled architecture.
• Develop, maintain, and consume REST/SOAP APIs with DoD sources (DISS, eMASS).
• Engineer AI/ML-driven alerting and routing workflows.
• Enable secure data transfer between enclaves via CDS; ensure 80% test coverage.
• Write secure code following DevSecOps and DISA STIGs; support A&A timelines.
• Assist with A&A by addressing performance defects within required timelines.
