Kforce's Boston-based client seeks a Principal Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across multiple functions. This role partners with Finance leadership and executives to drive performance and long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a finance-related field and 7+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, with strong Excel, ERP, and reporting system experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience.
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and presentations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and executive presentations.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Analyze financial performance and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve operational and financial results.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, business case development, and scenario analysis.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, FP&A, and leadership teams for reporting accuracy.
• Create executive reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership.
• Support audit activities, financial reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives.
• Lead process improvement focused on reporting automation, data analytics, and efficiencies.
• Mentor junior analysts and support cross-functional financial initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
