Job summary

PTC, a global software company, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning Team in Boston. You’ll partner with leadership to deliver data-driven insights, support long-range and annual planning, and translate financial results into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities include building models for headcount, salaries, and cloud spend; delivering monthly analyses; and collaborating across teams to understand drivers and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or similar analytical roles.
• Ability to commute to the Boston office 2–3 days a week.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication to non-finance audiences and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance partner to leaders across the organization to inform investment decisions.
• Build and maintain models for headcount, salaries, benefits, shared services, vendor and cloud spend.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly analyses of financial results and variances.
• Support annual planning and long-range planning with business strategy and structure.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives through partnering and analytics.
• Identify trends and opportunities that influence cross-functional decisions.
• Collaborate across levels to understand unit economics, product and market strategies.
