TYG is seeking a Principal Forensic Mechanical Engineer to lead complex investigations across the US. This senior role will own forensic mechanical projects from initial assessment to expert opinions and potential testimony, while mentoring a team of engineers and serving as a key technical voice within a national practice.

You will guide investigations of mechanical failures across commercial, industrial and residential properties, interfacing with clients and legal teams to deliver actionable

Competenze

• 8-10+ years of experience investigating mechanical system and component failures.
• Previous leadership or project management experience.
• Expert witness experience is highly desirable.
• Strong technical writing, communication and client management skills.
• Enjoys developing people and taking ownership of complex work.

• Leading complex forensic investigations into mechanical failures, defects and damage
• Determining cause and origin through detailed technical analysis
