Job summary

TYG in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Structural / Forensic Engineer to independently manage investigations from site assessment through analysis, reporting and client delivery. The role covers structural failures, construction defects, existing building investigations and root-cause analysis, with direct communication to clients, attorneys and insurers.

A PE license and roughly 10+ years of structural engineering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience
• PE license required
• Experience in forensic engineering preferred
• Strong report writing and litigation support abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage investigations from site assessment through analysis and reporting
• Cover structural failures, construction defects and existing building investigations
• Communicate directly with clients, attorneys, insurers and stakeholders
• Develop repair recommendations and provide litigation support
