Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal / Senior Principal Flight Test Engineer to join our Test & Evaluation team. The position will be 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, CA, and may be filled at Principal or Sr. Principal level.

You will develop test plans, support analysis, and coordinate with maintenance, design engineering, and test site personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness during developmental testing.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree is required (BS with experience or MS).
• Active US Government Secret clearance or eligibility with Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, detailed test plans, schedules, and procedures.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing and test readiness reviews.
• Interface with design and test teams to define configurations and data requirements.
• Conduct pre/post-test data analyses to support anomaly resolution and maintain testing metrics.
