Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Flight Test Engineer to lead planning, coordination and execution of developmental ground and flight tests on site at Edwards AFB. The role requires developing and maintaining test cards, providing test control support, and acting as a key technical focal point in the control room.

The candidate must have a STEM degree with required experience, plus an active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher and the ability to obtain SAP/PAR as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with required experience for level 2 or 5+ years for level 3.
• Active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Strong test, analysis and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of developmental ground and flight tests.
• Develop and maintain test cards and documentation; provide test control support.
• Serve as focal point in the control room and drive issues to closure.
• Collaborate across test operations and engineering disciplines.
