Job summary

UKG is seeking a seasoned Principal Software Development Engineer to lead Finance ERP design, integration, and AI-enabled automation on a global scale. You will partner with Finance stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure solutions across R2R, O2C, GL, and more.

You will drive data migration, testing, and go-live readiness while guiding cross-functional teams through Finance transformation programs and ERP modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering enterprise Finance technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes, ERP architecture, system integrations, and financial data management.
• Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, and QA for large ERP programs.
• Proven ability to work across Finance, Product, Architecture, and Engineering to deliver outcomes.
• MBA or CPA preferred; global finance transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance solution design across R2R, O2C, GL, AR, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Intercompany Accounting.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions.
• Provide leadership through reviews, harmonization, and transformation programs.
• Translate requirements into functional, technical, integration, and data specs.
• Drive data migration, validation, cutover, and go-live readiness.
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities in Finance processes.
• Manage stakeholders across global regions and drive alignment.
