Job summary

UKG is seeking a seasoned Principal Software Development Engineer to lead enterprise Finance solutions in a global environment. You will drive end-to-end ERP implementations, data migration, and AI-enabled automation across core finance processes, partnering with Finance stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in Finance tech, hands-on ERP experience (SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365), and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years delivering enterprise Finance technology solutions and ERP implementations.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, and QA for large ERP programs.
Demonstrated ability to work across Finance, Product, Architecture, and Engineering to deliver outcomes.
MBA or CPA preferred; global Finance transformation experience.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Finance solution design and implementation across core processes (R2R, O2C, GL, AR, Asset Accounting, Tax, Intercompany).
Partner with Finance stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions.
Provide functional leadership through design reviews and transformation programs.
Translate requirements into functional/technical specifications; collaborate with integration teams.
Lead data migration, validation, cutover activities, and ensure data integrity and governance.
Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities across Finance processes.
Act as trusted advisor to Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
