Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Fort Wayne, IN (and Palm Bay, FL) seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead the Division's program excellence and drive repeatable improvements across critical national security initiatives.

You will partner with the Division VP, oversee the Program Excellence Function, manage metrics, IRT coordination, forecasting tools, and growth initiatives, with travel monthly and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Experience in Earned Value Management, Risk Management, and Change Management.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi‑disciplinary, multi‑geographical teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Repeatable Program Excellence (RPX) improvements across the Division.
• Lead business initiatives as directed by the Division Vice President.
• Partner with functional leaders and program teams to improve execution and outcomes.
• Serve as the Division point of contact for program management issues.
• Track key program metrics, maintain scorecards, communicate trends to leadership.
• Coordinate Independent Review Team (IRT) activities and close action items.
• Support standardized tools and processes for forecasting.
• Collaborate with Business Development for execution strategy and growth.
• Travel at least once per month; ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
