Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Principal, Program Management Excellence- Operations to lead operations across Maritime Sector programs. This role focuses on driving predictable performance, CAM training, and executable baselines with cross-functional IPTs.

The candidate will lead governance for Gate/Independent Reviews, manage R&O for operations, and travel up to 25%. A seasoned PM/Operations leader with DoD experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
• Or post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience
• Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
• 10+ years of prior experience in Aerospace & Defense program management, Operations management and EVMS
• Prior experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Drive and support predictable performance across all sector programs for the Operations function
• Manage Sector CAM training & certification for the Operations function
• Partner with program, other IPT members with Operations function to support ensure executable baseline plan (cost and schedule)
• Drive and support program baseline planning for the Operations function
• Partner with program, IPT members with the Operations function to ensure operations IPT lead / CAM excellence
• Serve as an IPT support member and advocate for Operations functional initiatives within sector programs
• Assist and support the function for Gate and Independent Reviews for the sector
• Drive program R&O management for the Operations function
• Support the program, IPT and Operations function for preparation of various sector and division reviews
• Emphasize Program Management & Operations policies and processes are applied within programs
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Coordinates and adjudicates PMX support priorities
• Ability to Travel at least 25%
