Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software and firmware for mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes collaboration, DevSecOps practices, and a lifecycle approach across Linux or VxWorks environments.

The successful candidate will contribute to modeling, testing, and integration activities while working within the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting, and Survivability division. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience; or 3+ years with a Master's; or 1+ year with PhD.
• OOP in C/C++. Java a plus.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Batch, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for defense systems.
• Collaborate in a team using Agile/DevOps practices across the SDLC.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and support personnel to deliver solutions.
