Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer – Embedded for the Launch Systems division in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on real-time embedded software development for launch vehicle programs on-site at Chandler, AZ.

The successful candidate will work on requirements, design, coding, unit testing, and integration in a collaborative, multi-discipline team environment. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with U.S. citizenship. Experience with VxWorks or Yocto Linux is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related degree.
• Object Oriented (OO) software development experience in C/C++ on Linux environment.
• Experience in embedded real-time software development, debug and test.

Responsibilities

• Supports requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code & unit test, and integration & test of real time embedded software.
• Ensures software standards are met.
• Work in a collaborative multi-discipline team environment.
