Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) to join the SSE Sensors, Space, & Air department in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on Anti-Tamper and embedded cybersecurity within DoD programs, requiring an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to work onsite.

You will lead and contribute to design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of security solutions for embedded systems. Responsibilities include CPI analysis, SSE requirements derivation, trade-studies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with design/development/implementation in Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity or Software Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPI analysis.
• Generate SSE requirements and perform decomposition.
• Conduct SSE trade-studies and recommend a path forward.
• Create and maintain system engineering diagrams (functional, sequence, activity).
• Develop the program Anti-Tamper Plan and V&V plans/procedures.
• Present status updates to internal/external reviews and leadership.
