Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas seeks a Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) - P4 to apply Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity expertise on DoD programs. You will lead teams, communicate with stakeholders, and develop security solutions following SE processes; travel up to 25%.

Candidates must hold a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a STEM degree; experience in anti-tamper, cybersecurity, and real-time embedded security for DoD programs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required prior to start date.
• Experience in Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity or Software Assurance.
• 6+ years of progressive technical experience in Systems/Software Engineering architecture and development.
• Experience designing and fielding real-time embedded security solutions on DoD programs.
• Ability to interact with customers to define requirements, solutions and costs.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPI analysis and SSE requirements derivation.
• Lead SSE trade-studies and provide path forward recommendations.
• Create systems engineering diagrams and Anti-Tamper plans.
• Develop and execute V&V plans and procedures.
• Present to internal and external reviews and travel as needed.
