Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to design electrical power systems for municipal water/wastewater projects with leadership across teams and delivery of design packages. The role can be based in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC.

You will lead power distribution, motor controls, lighting and grounding design, perform power systems studies using ETAP/SKM, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with other disciplines. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and coordination for medium/low voltage power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and grounding in water/wastewater projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and support business development with scopes and budgets.
