Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater infrastructure in the Northeast. The role features major client engagement, mentoring of staff, and technical leadership for project delivery across facilities and pump stations.

Applicants should have 15+ years in municipal and industrial water projects, a PE license, and deep knowledge of power distribution, controls, lighting, and NEC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in water/wastewater facilities.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and client advisory on electrical projects.
• Develop and review power distribution, one-line diagrams, and control schematics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Support construction with field investigations, submittals, and RFIs.
• Mentor engineering staff and support business development.
