Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical power distribution design for municipal water/wastewater projects in the South Region of our Resilience Water Business. You will mentor staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions.

Requirements include 12+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and a Florida PE license. Travel up to 25% and leadership responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license (Florida) required.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 ( NEC ), NFPA 820 and NFPA 70E; field instrumentation and PLCs advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and coordination for medium/low voltage distribution in water/wastewater projects.
• Mentor junior staff and perform quality control reviews of work products.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and multi-project workloads; support business development.
• Collaborate with Control Systems and Process Mechanical groups; develop design criteria and one-line diagrams.
• Conduct field inspections and oversee projects in construction; publish power systems studies with arc flash analysis.
