Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of water and wastewater facilities in the Northeast. Hybrid/onsite work with travel up to 25% across the Northeast is expected.

You will mentor staff, shape project delivery strategies, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering sustainable, innovative electrical solutions for treatment plants and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in water/wastewater
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities
• Provide technical leadership and client advisory on electrical engineering matters
• Develop power distribution, control schematics, and construction documents
• Mentor staff and support business development and client relations
• Oversee coordinating studies including short-circuit and arc flash analyses
• Support construction phase with site inspections and RFI responses
