A growing, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join its leadership team. This is an opportunity for a technically strong and client-focused engineer to play a key role in project delivery, business development, team leadership, and strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of building systems projects.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with a proven track record leading complex electrical design projects, developing client relationships, mentoring engineering teams, and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record and provide technical leadership for electrical engineering projects.
  • Lead the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, life safety, emergency power, and low-voltage systems.
  • Manage projects from concept through construction administration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, owners, and industry partners.
  • Support business development efforts including proposals, interviews, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Review engineering documents for quality control, code compliance, and design excellence.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12+ years of electrical engineering experience within the consulting engineering, MEP, or AEC industry.
