Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in the consulting/MEP/AEC industry.
- Demonstrated leadership managing teams and complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, energy codes and standards.
- Experience designing building electrical systems for diverse facilities.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and electrical analysis software.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and identify opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Engineer of Record and provide technical leadership for electrical engineering projects.
- Lead the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, life safety, emergency power, and low-voltage systems.
- Manage projects from concept through construction administration.
- Build and maintain client, architect, owner and partner relationships.
- Support business development including proposals and market expansion.
- Mentor and develop engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Review documents for quality, code compliance and design excellence.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural and architectural disciplines.
- Provide strategic direction on pursuits, staffing and standards.
- Help establish departmental goals and best practices.
