Job summary

Resolut Group in Tempe, Arizona is seeking an electrical engineer to manage projects and continue to develop design experience as part of a team under the guidance of a principal engineer.

You will collaborate with architects and other consulting engineers to design electrical systems (lighting, fire alarm, power distribution) on commercial projects, contribute to detailed design documents, and lead design activities from start to finish while meeting schedule and budget goals.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with owners and architects.
• Ability to lead design from start to finish under a Principal Engineer.

Responsibilities

Resolut Group has an opening for an electrical engineer in our Tempe, Arizona office. In this position, the ideal candidate will manage projects and continue to develop engineering design experience as part of a team under the guidance of a principal engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Work with architects and other consulting engineers to develop the design of various electrical systems including lighting, fire alarm, power distribution, etc. on various types of projects.
• Willingness and desire to be a part of a team.
• Ability and inclination to participate and lead in project design from start to finish under the supervision of a Principal Engineer.
• Understand the need for work to be completed on time and under budget.
• Ability to develop clear and concise written documentation.
• Competence and readiness to support the project team by contributing to detailed systems design documents.

Qualifications:

• A degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 2-3 years of experience in commercial building design is required.
• Applicant must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working with building owners and architects and coordinating with other consulting engineering disciplines such as mechanical, structural & civil engineers.

Salary commensurate with experience.
