Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer / Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer, Technical Lead, to join the Sentinel Launch Systems Infrastructure Facility Electrical Design Team in Roy, Utah.

The role focuses on system and equipment design, power distribution, and collaboration with engineering teams to meet program goals. Candidates must have a STEM degree and substantial experience, be a US citizen with a DoD Secret clearance, and be able to obtain SAP approval.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5 years' experience (or 2 with Masters, or 1 with PhD).
• US citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience in electrical power generation, distribution and safety.
• Knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, NEC, UFC).

Responsibilities

• Support design requirements for electrical power generation and distribution.
• Attend program reviews and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Coordinate electrical system content with other integration teams.
• Document electrical system designs and perform system integration tasks.
