Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to support the Sentinel program. You will analyze facilities and subsystems enabling upgrades to Minuteman III and related test sites.

US citizenship with a Secret clearance is required. The role emphasizes electrical architecture, power systems, and EMI/thermal management for complex launch‑power environments.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience (or Master’s 6 years, PhD 4).
• Experience in electrical architecture, power systems, cable design, circuit design, and power distribution.
• Knowledge of industry/military codes and standards (mil-specs, IEEE, NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEC, UFC).
• Experience designing ground, facility, or launch power systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and analysis of facilities supporting Sentinel upgrade and test sites.
• Apply electrical analysis to support high‑reliability power and distribution systems.
• Prepare engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
